"a queer was here" – a dropped pin, a proclamation, and act of resistance, a mark of love. Place these stickers in your own spaces or... not your spaces 🤭. heck! Place these stickers anywhere. Afterall, a queer has been here 😏.

These stickers are an ode, a reboot, a collaboration with my mom: when I was a kid (early 2000s) my mom made these stickers. I remember being places with my mom on campus, around town, travelling – watching her quietly adhere a small sticker to something, and other times spotting a sticker after the fact: "a queer was here"

In the wave of anti-gay marriage campaigns & other homophobic policies, practices, and ways of being my queer mom modeled small, self affirming, & radical acts of resistance. She modeled ways of being that were honest, creative, and congruent (and still does).

My mom was such a fun learning and coworking partner as a kid – she taught me about studying and learning and processing information on the go; she taught me about taking shortcuts that don't violate my integrity and how to know the difference; and she taught me about temporary graffiti as a form of antagonistic disobedience.

A couple years ago I mentioned wanting to revive the stickers. We've had our talks, and here they are. sticker responsibility, says my mom.

Each sticker measures 2"x2" & is printed on thermal sticker paper. Get these stickers in quantities of 5, 25, 50 or 100.
