Takeaways from [ ]

I created this sticker as an invitation or cue to myself to capture a few takeaways before moving on from the moment. It might be after a call with my mom, a rich gathering of friends, a meeting I can barely stay awake for, or as I'm wrapping up reading for the moment. 

It's a bid for presence, documenting, recording, charting, noting – all of those verbs that facilitate not having to remember from memory, not having to lose the thread as the day goes on, not having to retrace steps upon returning. Something about studying...
